We take photographs and video at our demo facility, at events, and at customer sites, and may use these on our website, in marketing materials and on social media. See Section 11 for how we handle images of children specifically.

We only collect personal data that is relevant and necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

We process personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) using the lawful bases below:

  • Finance introduction records: retained in line with our standard customer records period, for compliance and audit purposes

Data is securely deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

We work closely with schools, and photograph and film demonstrations, events and site visits that children may attend. In doing so:

  • We will obtain prior written consent before photographing or filming at any school, youth club, or other setting where children under 18 may be present.

  • We will not publish any images or footage in which an individual child is identifiable without the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • Where such consent has not been given or confirmed, we will not publish identifiable images of that child, and will use non-identifiable footage, wider shots, or edited images instead.

  • Where a customer or venue hosts us for an event or site visit, that organisation is responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from individuals present, in line with our Terms and Conditions.

  • A parent, guardian, or the individual concerned may request the removal of an image at any time by contacting hello@nanuskate.com.

We do not otherwise knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16 through our website or general business dealings. If we become aware that personal data relating to a child has been collected without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
